Tindle Dulcimer Models

  • SERENADE (Standard)

    The SERENADE is a standard full-size dulcimer with four strings commonly tuned to D-A-dd (3-string with doubled melody string) or D-A-d-d (4-equidistant strings). It's refreshing, inspiring voice sings with a clear and balanced tone, with healthy volume and sweet sustain.

    SONATA (Baritone)

    The SONATA model is much like the Serenade, but with a deeper voice due to lower tuning and larger strings. It is most commonly tuned A-E-aa (traditional double melody string) or A-E-a-a (four equidistant strings). It has a rich, full and deep tone with great sustain.

    MINUET (Short Scale)

    The body of the MINUET is 2" shorter in length than the Serenade or Sonata and can accommodate shorter scale lengths like 25" and even 24" VSLs......
