Warranty
All Tindle Music Company products (except dulcimers, see below) are fully warranted against any defects in materials or labor for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original owner only and is not transferrable. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, abuse, or natural disaster. Additionally, variations in appearance and appeal due to wood grain, color, figure, etc., are very subjective and neither warranted nor guaranteed. These items are made using natural organic materials and there will be variations in color, grain/figure patterns, etc.
Mountain Dulcimers - Each Tindle Dulcimer includes a limited lifetime (of the builder) materials and labor warranty for all new dulcimers. This warranty applies to the original owner only and is not transferrable. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, abuse, or natural disaster. Additionally, variations in appearance and appeal due to wood grain, color, figure, etc., are very subjective and neither warranted nor guaranteed. These items are made using natural organic materials and there will be variations in color, grain/figure patterns, etc.
Availability
Accessories & CDs - We do our best to keep most accessories and CDs in stock and ready to ship. However, if we do not have your items in-stock when you order, we can typically have them ready in just a few weeks, often less. Build time for stands that are not in stock is generally 3-4 weeks.
Mountain Dulcimers - please contact us regarding the completion timeframe for any dulcimers that are not already completed. Typical build time for dulcimers is 6-8 weeks, depending upon work load, shows, etc.
If you would like to confirm the availability of any item before ordering, please contact us. Once your order is shipped, it generally takes 2-5 days (continental U.S.) to arrive on your doorstep.
Shipping
For all domestic USA orders - a flat rate charge for insured shipping will be added to each item in your order at checkout. Most items will be shipped via UPS or USPS. Flat rate insured shipping charges are $75 for Dulcimers, $20 for stands, $10 for PickBox, and $5 for CDs and PickDish.
For all other orders (including international orders) - shipping costs will be calculated at checkout and added to your order. They are determined by the shipping company and based upon your shipping address and the size and weight of your order. USPS International Priority Mail is usually the best choice for International orders. Upon checkout, if you do not find options listed for your country, please contact us.
All shipping costs are non-refundable.
Returns
Accessories & CDs - Any item to be returned must be unused and in the same condition as you received in order to be eligible for a return for exchange or refund. It must also be returned in the original packaging. If an item is defective, we will gladly accept a return for exchange or refund if received within 7 days of original sale. If item is not defective, it is at Tindle Music Company's sole discretion to determine eligibility. You must contact us before returning any item. All international sales are final.
Mountain Dulcimers - While we are completely confident you will love your new Tindle Dulcimer, we perfectly understand the concern of buying a musical instrument online without the opportunity to see/hear/touch and otherwise experience it first hand. We have removed the risk of this buying process by including a 72-hour trial period in which you can confirm with full assurance that this is the right dulcimer for you and have the option to return it for a full refund, minus the shipping costs. You will have 3 full days from the date of receipt to evaluate, and your only liability is the shipping costs both directions (a small price to pay for your peace of mind). The dulcimer must be shipped back within 72 hours in the original condition and in the original packaging to be eligible. For custom-built dulcimers, it is at the sole discretion of Tindle Music Company to determine eligibility for this return policy depending upon the extent of the customization. You must contact us before shipping a returned dulcimer. All international sales are final.
Return Shipping
If you are returning an item for a refund or exchange, contact us first before shipping. We will send you an email to notify you we have receieved your returned item once your return is actually received and inspected. We will also notify you of the approval, conditional approval, or rejection of your exchange or refund.
To return your product, ship it in the original packaging to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any cost to TMC of your return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Please understand we are not the shipping company, so we can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. If you are shipping an item over $75, we strongly advise you to use a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance.
Exchanges
We can only replace items if they are defective or damaged (please refer to our Warranty and Returns information above). If you need to make an exchange for the same item, contact us immediately.
Refund (if applicable)
If you are approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed as soon as possible and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or Missing Refund
If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
