The Serenade model is a full size mountain dulcimer with a clear, balanced tone. Its refreshing, inspiring voice sings with healthy volume and sweet sustain and does not sound “boxy” or “twangy”.

It features a comfortable 27” VSL (vibrating string length) that I believe enhances playing comfort without sacrificing tone. Standard wood offerings include walnut, cherry, and mahogany (Sapele).

Three levels of trim, additional wood options, and numerous other customizations are available to personalize your Tindle Serenade Dulcimer. Scroll down to see all the details.

The Serenade - Trim Levels

  • ESSENTIAL

    The ESSENTIAL trim level includes many standard features fit for a great dulcimer like hand selected hardwoods, a rosewood fretboard, strap buttons, and a hard shell case.

    The PREMIUM trim level includes figured premium grade woods, as well as hardwood bindings, a rosewood headplate & heal cap, and several fingerboard inlay choices.
